NBG Project“The Chain Saw Gang” receives instructions from Chad at Naples Botanical Garden preparing to remove some of the exotics last Saturday. 15 Naples North Rotarians and one guest were there to work on the project: President Bob Belcastro, Paul Blauch, Fitz Frater, Larry Harris, Paul Jones, Lee Ann Kirwin, Carl Loveday, Bill Meek, Ron Miller, Jim Morey Tim Norris, Bob Schmeckpeper, Rob Stoneburner, Joe Sullivan, Jake Swaninger and Chuck Vitale. Ron Miller presented a check from our Club for $8,000 to Naples Botanical Garden officials to help offset the cost of Chickee huts being erected by the Osceola family.

Bench AssemblySaturday, 4/21/07 20-Rotarians, three family members and a friend worked four hours on the Naples botanical Garden Project, putting together 3 benches made of recycled plastic guaranteed to last 50-years. President Bob Belcastro says he'll be there to inspect.
