2002 - 2008 Adopt-A-Precinct Project
for the
Collier County Supervisor of Elections

- The Rotary Club of Naples North staffed Federal,State and Local elections in 2002 - 2008 as part of the Supervisor of Elections Adopt-A-Precinct program at Precinct 210 located at the North Naples Fire Station at Veterans Park off Immokalee Road. The Rotary Club of Naples North receives appropriate credit for our volunteer efforts at the Federal, State and Local Elections at our Adopted Precincts in 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008. Since 2004 we worked from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Precinct 210 located at the North Naples Fire Station adjacent to Veterans Community Park off Immokalee Road. We contributed our individual earnings of $130-$170 each to our club projects

November 11, 2006 The Naples North Adopt-A-Precinct crew manned Precinct 210 again, L-R Collier County’s oldest working poll worker, Hank Schmidt, Ted Soliday, Giselher Grosskopf, John Brooks, David Allen, Rob Stoneburner, Al Garland, Jr. and crew leader and Precinct Clerk, Chuck Vitale.
September 9, 2006 Primary workers L-R Tor Kolflat, our required Democrats, Sal & Mary Giglion (from the Italian American Club), John Brooks, Kristina Garland, Rob Stoneburner, Alex Garland Jr., Bob Schmeckpeper, and Chuck Vitale.
December 2, 2004 Rotarian & Precinct Clerk Chuck Vitale presents a check for $2,655 to Club President Mick Moore for the November 2, 2004 Election coverage.  Carl Loveday was recognized for contributing $550 of that check for 50 hours as a Poll Worker at Naples City Hall during Early Voting.

November 5, 2002 we were poll workers from 5:30A-9:30P at Collier County Precinct 410, Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church on Immokalee Road and enjoyed becoming closer friends during the process.
